VAPORSWEEP: PRIVACY MANDATE & SERVICE TERMS
Effective Date: March 31, 2026
I. PRIVACY MANDATE
VaporSweep is an autonomous storage utility. We facilitate the refinement of your device's digital space without creating a centralized record of your identity or the contents of your storage.
The Principle of Local Processing
VaporSweep identifies and eliminates redundant APK files, residual data fragments, and temporary system caches.
- Access Scope: To function, the application requires the "All Files Access" (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) permission.
- On-Device Boundary: All analytical operations occur entirely within your local CPU and memory. We do not possess the infrastructure to upload, mirror, or index your file names, folder hierarchies, or private documents to any external cloud or server.
Technical Telemetry & Ecosystem Partners
To maintain software integrity and monitor distribution success, VaporSweep interfaces with specific technical service providers. These partners handle pseudonymized metadata, never your files.
- Firebase (Google): Utilized for real-time crash diagnostics. If an error occurs, a pseudonymized technical log (hardware model, OS version) is generated to assist our engineers.
- Attribution & Analytics (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer): These tools verify the commercial origin of an installation. They process device-level tokens such as your Advertising ID (GAID or IDFA).
- Non-Association Guarantee: These entities are contractually barred from accessing your local storage or correlating technical signals with your biological persona.
Legal Foundations for Processing
Our limited interaction with technical data is grounded in the following legal pillars:
- Contractual Necessity: Local analysis of your storage is the core service you have engaged us to perform.
- Legitimate Interests: We utilize pseudonymized technical IDs to prevent fraudulent activity, secure the app environment, and evaluate our global reach.
Your Rights of Data Sovereignty
VaporSweep grants you absolute authority over your digital footprint:
- Right to Know (Sharing & Selling): You have the right to know if your data is shared or sold. VaporSweep does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Sharing is strictly limited to the technical operational partners listed in Section 2.
- Right of Access & Rectification: You may request access to, or the correction of, any inaccurate or incomplete personal/technical data held by us or our partners.
- Right to Erasure (Deletion): You can request the total deletion of your data. Deleting the VaporSweep app immediately purges all local session history. For partner-level technical logs, our DPO can facilitate a purge request.
- Right to Lodge a Complaint: You are explicitly entitled to contact a data protection authority in your jurisdiction if you believe our data handling violates legal standards.
Retention & Disposal Cycles
- Local Scan Data: This information is ephemeral; it exists in volatile memory during an active session and is cleared upon task completion.
- Technical Telemetry: Non-identifiable metadata held by third-party partners is retained for the minimum period required for aggregate reporting—typically 12 to 24 months—before being permanently anonymized.
Choice & Opt-Out Mechanisms
- Disallowing Sharing/Sales: While we do not "sell" data, you can prevent technical sharing by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android) within your system settings.
- Permission Revocation: You may withdraw storage access at any time through your device settings, which will instantly terminate all scanning capabilities.
Governance & Data Protection Officer (DPO)
We have appointed a DPO to oversee our privacy commitment and handle user inquiries.
II. END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)
Grant of License
VaporSweep grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the software on a single device for your personal maintenance, subject to these terms.
Acceptable Use Restrictions
By utilizing VaporSweep, you agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the scanning logic.
- Use the application to intentionally interfere with system-critical files required for device stability.
- Modify, redistribute, or commercially exploit the software in any form.
Intellectual Property
The VaporSweep name, branding, and proprietary algorithms are the exclusive property of the developer. No ownership rights are transferred to you under this license.
Disclaimer of Warranty
VaporSweep is provided "AS IS." While we strive for absolute precision, we do not warrant that the application will identify every piece of redundant data or remain entirely free from technical errors. Users are responsible for reviewing items flagged for removal before confirming deletion.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VaporSweep and its creators shall not be liable for any accidental loss of data, performance issues, or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software.
Termination
This agreement is effective until terminated by you (via uninstallation). We reserve the right to revoke your license immediately if you violate any terms of this EULA.
